Victoria Faith is THREE!!!

Three years and four days ago, Victoria came into our lives. Grandpa was one of the first ones to greet Victoria into this world.

Luke 17:6  And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamore tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
Victoria's favorite foods to eat by mouth are applesauce, peaches, oatmeal with peaches and pomegranate smoothie:)

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Mom and I made a butterfly cake for Victoria. The cake's flavor was butter pecan, and the frosting was butter cream with caramel flavoring.
James 1:3- Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
You can see how long Victoria has grown in this photo...they were amazed at her last appointment!

A special thanks to all those who helped make Victoria's birthday special!

I Peter 1:7  That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
While Victoria does not talk, she does make various happy sounds, gurgles and sighs.
Victoria loves being loved by her brothers! (and sisters...)
...For we walk by faith, and not by sight...2 Cor. 5:7
Three reasons we are grateful for our little Jewel, Victoria:
1. Prayer has become more real.
2. She has drawn us closer as a family.
3. It's wonderful having a miracle living in our house!!
Are there any ways that Victoria has touched your life? If so, could you leave a comment and tell us how?...We would love to hear about it!

  1. I didn't realize Sunday was actually her birthday until I looked at the calander that evening...I think it's been great for all of us to be around someone "handicaped" - we all love a newborn baby that's completely dependent on us, and I think the same applies to Victoria - besides, compared to God's infinite power and knowledge, there's not a whole lot of difference between her and anyone else...my every breath depends on His mercy too, so those are a couple things she's taught me :)

  2. The way your family loves and enjoys and values Victoria is beautiful to behold. It is a refreshing reminder of the blessing of every single life given by God. Your blog is a testimony to HIS sustaining strength and to our dependance on Jesus Christ. I have never heard a complaint about the "burden" of caring for Victoria - I believe you all count it a privilege. I praise God for his precious gift of life. Victorious hope, mercy, grace and faith indeed! Thank you to all the Mittons for your faithfulness to your(God's) sweet Victoria.
